We will be planting bulbs (snowdrops, crocus, daffodils, bluebells) on the green outside Hen Gapel (Queen’s Terrace) Rhyd y Groes. We will also assess the feasibility of planting on one of the roadside embankments. We will need to select and agree which specific area to start with, assess the safety implications and take some measurements
On Bank Holiday Sunday 14 Parchu Pentir Respect members met at the end of Rhyd-y-Groes to remove hemlock from the stream. Some 70 metres were cleared and Iwan took two big builder’s bags to Moel-y-Ci for composting. Hopefully the locals will keep their feet and houses dry. Some tea and cake from Anwen and Carolien
