Listed below are some of the local grocery suppliers which you can access with our help, if necessary. If there’s any service you need that isn’t provided by the listed companies and providers then please don’t hesitate to ask.

Kevin can deliver milk, juice, yoghurt, bread and butter, preferably if you can provide him with a regular order. He delivers to Pentir on Thursday evening/Friday morning or Monday evening/Tuesday morning.

Greengrocers M Hughes & Son sell boxes of fruit & vegetable for home delivery. Although they are based in Llandudno, they have indicated that they are able to delivery to Pentir and have the capacity to do so.

Although the café is closed, the shop is still operating, and continuing to supply the community with healthy, and where possible, locally sourced and organic food.
Moelyci offer a weekly bag of fruit and vegetables for £10. Orders are taken on the number below. Payment in advance by cash, credit or debit cards, or bank transfer. They are compiling a new list of products to suit the current situation and serve the local community, and will put this on their website and Facebook Page. They are currently selling Take Out hot drinks, savouries and cakes.

Pysgod ar Lein/Fish on Line will drop fish orders at Moelyci every Friday afternoon for collection. Order and pay over phone on 07476 300930 by credit card or leave cash at Moelyci. There is a list of products on the Pysgod ar Lein/ Fish on Line Facebook Page, also on the Pysgod arlein/Fish online website.
Morrisons, Tesco, Asda and Waitrose operate on-line shopping. click and collect, and delivery services.
If you arrange a click and collect delivery, we can arrange for a volunteer to collect your order.
Tredici Butchers and Deli, based in Beaumaris, offer a contact free home delivery or collection service. Their price list, on their Facebook account, gives a snapshot of the hundreds of products they offer.
Delivery to Pentir is weekly, on a Friday. The delivery charge is £3. Ideally you should place the order before 12 the previous day, but they are a bit flexible at the moment and managing to fulfil any last minute orders.

Llechwedd Meats sell a variety of meat products and offer a home delivery service. Delivery is free for orders over £75 (on 6th April 2020), £3 otherwise.

A new project has been established in the Ogwen Valley to help local people access home deliveries during the Covid-19 outbreak, but it also aims to support local businesses and local supply chains beyond Covid-19.
Orders can be placed online only. Orders must be placed before Sunday midnight to ensure delivery on the following Tuesday. Delivery costs £1 per online order to Pentir, with deliveries by a community electric vehicle. If you are not going to be in to receive your order it will be left in the safe place that you specified when placing your order.
Payment for goods
If you are likely to need any of these services, or indeed if you need to ask a volunteer to shop for you, you may want to consider how you are going to make payments. Some people may be able to make electronic payments, but you may also consider getting a supply of cash.
