We will be planting bulbs (snowdrops, crocus, daffodils, bluebells) on the green outside Hen Gapel (Queen’s Terrace) Rhyd y Groes.
We will also assess the feasibility of planting on one of the roadside embankments. We will need to select and agree which specific area to start with, assess the safety implications and take some measurements so that we can work out how many bulbs we are likely to need.
Also, we thought it would be useful to carry out a survey of existing wild hedgerow plants (off the main road) in the area and, if possible, collect some seeds for general sowing.
