Nine members from both the Action Group and the Community Group met with some of the committee of Menter Tŷ’n Llan to hear and see how they are getting along. They opened the community run pub in December 2021 and have gone from strength to strength ever since. Carys, Caryl and Bethany explained how the community share strategy had given them a solid financial foundation so that they were able to buy the pub and carry out urgent improvements. Since then they have accessed grant funding for a kitchen and are now hoping to upgrade and extend the building and grounds.
