242 toads and 3 frogs, on their annual spawning migration to Ken’s pond, were rescued from the road from Rhyd-y-Groes to the vicarage, by residents of Pentir from Wednesday 23 February until the following Monday. Special thanks to Iwan and Anwen, who went out on several evenings.
On Sunday 27 February we had another litter pick. In addition to a number of bags, a wide variety of rubbish was collected from the verges, including gutters and road signs.
