The toad migration in Pentir has begun, now the milder evenings are here.
To warn traffic, the signs are now open in three places along Rhyd-y-Groes and Lôn Rallt.
The migration takes place on evenings above 5 deg C approx, from dusk onwards.
Please take extreme care at these times to avoid driving over toads.
Volunteers will be marshalling – this involves collecting any toads along the road and taking them to the field where they go to breed.
