Supporting you during the Coronavirus Outbreak

If you’re over 70, or have a health condition that means you need to self-isolate, then volunteers from in and around Pentir can help you by carrying out basic errands. If you need help in any form, please contact us via our email address:  post@pentir.org.uk

On the Local Services page you will find a list of some of the services that we understand are available at this time that you can use, with our help if necessary.

If there’s anything you need that we haven’t listed, please don’t hesitate to ask.

Note that your name and phone number will only be passed on to the volunteer assigned to help you.

Ways we can help

Buying or Collecting Groceries

If you need any essentials to be bought or just collected from a nearby supermarket, grocers, pharmacy, or pet shop, just get in touch via post@pentir.org.uk

Collecting Prescriptions

If you need to have a prescription, or other goods, collected from a local pharmacy, then please get in touch via post@pentir.org.uk

Collecting Parcels

If you need to have a parcel delivered, we can take it to a Post Office or other postal agent (e.g. Hermes ParcelShops), for onward delivery. We can also collect parcels, if required.

Dog Walking

If you're unable to get out to walk your dog, then please get in touch, and we can arrange for a volunteer to take your dog as part of their permitted daily exercise routine.

Keep in Touch!

If you just fancy a chat, whether by phone, or via video software such as Skype, we can arrange for somebody to get in touch.

If you have any additional ideas or information please let us know.

We look forward to hearing from you.
