Defibrillator Installed!

Following on from successful village fundraising events, the Fun Run and the Church concert, and the approval of the Awards for All grant, the defibrillator for the disused phone kiosk in Pentir square has now been purchased and installed.

Many members of the community rolled up their sleeves to fit a new door, repair the light and clean the kiosk in preparation for the installation which took place on Wednesday 8th November by Will from Community Heartbeat Trust (CHT)

There will be an awareness session run by CHT in Moelyci barn to be held at Moelyci Barn, Lon Felin Hen, Tregarth, LL57 4BB on Wednesday 29th November 6pm.

We will be serving free soup and bagels, mince pies, mulled wine and soft drinks. After refreshments the session will start around 6.45

All welcome – children and families too 🙂 Attendees do not need to live in Pentir to attend – anyone with an interest is welcome.
